Central Busoga Bishop rallies believers on census
Bishop Patrick Wakula.

The Bishop of Central Busoga diocese Rt. Rev. Patrick Wakula has rallied believers to embrace the ongoing population census exercise regardless of their religious affiliations.

Bishop Wakula says this is aimed at supporting the government in planning for the population.

He was on Sunday leading prayers at St. Andrew’s Igamba Church of Uganda in Iganga Northern division, Iganga district where he commissioned a  house  built for the assistant Reverend of the church Rev. Martin Muyambi.

The house was constructed by one of the church members, Andrew Mukacha, currently living in the USA.

He commended the family of Mukacha which was represented by relatives for the great achievement in supporting the gospel of God and also commended the engineering department led by Eng. Richard Mucurezi  for the trustworthiness in construction, before urging all believers to emulate Muchacha's example.

At the same function, at least 32 converts who included children and adults were confirmed by the Bishop.

The Bishop urged them to move by God’s teaching in all their Christian lives.
